Mr. Larsen is the Director of Information Technology. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah with an emphasis in Information Systems. He later returned to the Business School as an Adjunct Instructor. He has worked for the University since 2001 and for Research Administration since 2003. The IT Office is responsible for the Information Systems, particularly the Electronic Research Integrity & Compliance Administration (ERICA) System.
Shanna is the Associate Director of Information Technology and has worked for The University of Utah since July, 2019. She oversees research application systems, including ERICA. She takes pride in delivering quality products that are user friendly. In spare time, she spends time with family and enjoys the wonders of Utah’s outdoors.
Brandon Powers is the Lead Software Developer for ERICA. He has been coding for ERICA since 2014 and contributes his expertise to various departments involved in research administration. He enjoys hiking with his family, coaching his kids sports teams, playing basketball, and learning new technologies.
Glen Larkin
Glen Larkin provides IT support for ORIS and has been troubleshooting computers professionally since 2016. He has loved technology since childhood and started building computers at a very young age. Glen has grown up and lived in Salt Lake City almost his entire life. He appreciates the constant change of weather and loves the nearby mountains for his Jeep and motorcycles.
Neha is a Web Software Developer with Masters degree in Information Systems. She has been working with University of Utah since September, 2018. She has a prior experience working on the development projects. She actively contributes to the code base with other developers to enhance existing application. In spare time, she likes to read and spends time with friends and family.
I have been the quality assurance specialist for ORIS since 2021. I work with review
boards and perform testing to ensure that ERICA and our other projects continue to
meet the needs of our partners and are always improving. I've received a Bachelor's
in Computer Science from Weber State University, a Bachelor's in Education from UVU,
and trained as an EMT at SLCC. I've audited hotels, developed software, and provided
supported living services for an autistic child.
I love Star Wars, the outdoors, activism, and writing comedy books.

Selena graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Psychology and CS certification. After graduation she spent a year traveling abroad and upon returning landed a job in tech where she spent four years developing her technical background. Outside of work Selena enjoys cross county road trips and trying new food places.
